Debra Siegel is a Rockville Centre resident for over 12 years and prior to that, a Baldwin resident for over 9 years. Debra is married and she and her husband have raised two sons who attended public schools in Baldwin and Rockville Centre. One is now currently a senior at Carnegie Mellon University and one is a senior at South Side High School.
Debra is an active P.T.A. member for over 17 years, serving on various committees including serving as the Legislative representative for both South Side Middle School and South Side High School as well as serving as the High School’s P.T.A. representative for the Rockville Centre UFSD Drug, Alcohol and Violence Prevention Task Force and RVC Coalition for Youth.
Debra’s civic involvement and activism in the community includes being a founding and active member of Indivisible of RVC and of Raising Voices USA, where she currently serves on the Immigration committee.
In her professional life, Debra is a criminal defense attorney in the public sector for over 31 years as well as a union member for as long. She received her B.A. from Queens College, City University of New York and her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
